Systematic & discretionary futures desk

Engineering alpha from volatility.

We build the strategies in-house and run them through a trained operator team on Nasdaq futures. No signal resale, no education business, no client capital — one desk, one market, one process.

How we operate

Research writes the rules. Operators execute them.

The separation is deliberate. Nobody improvises size, entry or exit. The strategy is settled the day before; the session is about clean execution.

  1. STEP 01

    Research & backtest

Every strategy is developed internally against tick-level Nasdaq futures data, then walked forward on unseen periods. If it only works in-sample, it does not ship.

  2. STEP 02

    Authorization signal

During the session the desk pushes an authorization to the Sigma Dynamix Terminal: size and invalidation. Direction depends on your current role. One position per signal. Outside that authorization, no position is opened.

  3. STEP 03

    Execution & review

The operator places the trade and manages it to the stated invalidation. Every fill is logged. All sessions are reviewed, and you receive detailed briefs covering the execution.

Selection process

From assessment to live desk.

We hire on execution alone. Every candidate takes the same live market simulation, and the ranking decides who moves forward — no CV, no interview, no referral.

Online assessment

A live market simulation in your browser. Three sessions of real NQ data, executed under time pressure.

≈ 30 minutes

Two-week evaluation

Daily sessions on the Terminal alongside the desk, under live conditions, closed by a full performance review at the end.

10 sessions
STEP 03

Live desk capital

You execute firm signals on firm capital. One 30-minute session a day, between 09:45 and 11:00 New York time.

Compensation starts

No fees to apply. No fees to trade. Fully remote.

The desk

One market, traded properly.

Sigma Dynamix trades Nasdaq futures and nothing else. Depth beats breadth: a single instrument means the team knows its open, its liquidity pockets and its failure modes intimately, and it means our risk model has one thing to describe.

We do not manage outside capital, sell signals, or run a trading course. The desk trades its own book, and it hires operators to run it.

Before you apply

Trading futures involves substantial risk. Sigma Dynamix does not accept client capital and does not offer investment advice.

Sigma Dynamix Terminal

The desk ships its own software.

Operators don't watch a chat channel. They run a Windows desktop application built in-house that receives authorization signals, timestamps them, and records every action taken against them.

  • Signed builds, versioned release notes
  • Credentials issued per operator, revocable
  • Full session log exported for the debrief

Careers

We hire operators, then we train them.

You do not need a trading track record. You need composure under time pressure, the discipline to follow a rule you disagree with, and the honesty to log the session exactly as it happened.

Run live sessions on Nasdaq futures from the Terminal. Execute authorized signals, manage them to invalidation, and file the session debrief.

Take the assessment
  • Desk capital — you never fund the account
  • Progression reviewed on process, not on a single P&L print
  • One session a day — around 30 minutes, between 09:45 and 11:00 New York time
